Expertise: mmm thats a good question. i like to think i am good at everything, but we all know it is quite the opposite, except for talking, which is always lotsa fun, as you can see i am pretty good at but would you consider a lot of talking being good at talking or is it that i jsut talk alot and one who is good at talking is good with their vocab and people and can hold a convo for a long time.... and look at that: i just did the latter with a computer, hence i am not only good at talking but SUPERLATIVE at it which brings out my stupendous vocabulary---which therefore makes my expertise A CONVERSATIONALIST.

| ... its been ages since I've been on.. I missed all the holidays: Merry belated Christmas to everyone, and Happy New Year!! So here's a recap of the last month: I finished school for 2006 and went into the holidays, and to numerous Christmas parties. This past weekend i had an awesome time up at the Campfire! grounds for New Years with some super fantabulous people! Thanks everyone i had a blast.... singing was so amazing! On Sunday we had a devotional in the morning, and it was so inspiring: we picked a verse that applied to us for the New Year, and to hear everyone tlak about how God has worked in them and how He will continue was so WOW. ( no other words can describe it). So I challenge all of you (if you havent already done it), to have a goal for this year, one that brings us to the ultimate goal: Jesus Christ. Hope the New Year is full of good times and fun memories for all. Am and Heid you guys rock my socks: you are osmazing!! (Heidi I'm going to use that forever now). Thanks for all the girl talk huns--hours pon hours of nonstop chatter is good for the soul.... and i pray everything works out. | | |
| There is alot of some awesome stuff outside... that white stuff that causes you to shiver, and not only because it is cold but just because it is awesome.... that feeling of snowflakes on you... they are really gorgeous... id like to examine one under a microscope, but alas, microscopes use light which has another form of energy attatched to that called HEAT which sigh melts things like sweet snowflakes. so i ahve a question... you know when someone starts talking about getting drunk or just doing something obviously not cool... how do you respond to that with out sounding "preachy"? (ya i know the question came from nowhere but its been bugging me alot lately) and i am proud of myself today.. bought my first gift for the holidays.... got a long ways to go for all you people i have to buy presents for. To everyone who doesnt get a present from me you get the old fashioned, virtual, merry-christmas-and-have-a-happy-new-year, pretty sure we both ate too much chocolate because we couldnt keep our bellies from touching, "you're awesome" hug. i give my full support to all last minute shoppers... we need to stick together. | | |
| So I had a friend ask me about the stars.... astrology. the first thing i thought in my head was horoscopes....bad. so i was all ready to say why those things are wrong... until she started to elaborate: the stars... do you think God put them there to just be pretty? i know they are there for the seasons, but dont you think it would be all the more amazing if we found a connection between our lives and them.... that God is in so much more control. At that I was ready to say but we dont need the stars to know that God is in control. and then she said and in the Bible, God used a star to lead the magi to Jesus. "I have looked in the Bible for things to go against this, but I actually only find things like how people who analyze stars are the wisemen.." I am going to keep my personal opinion to myself, but feel free to comment... this is just food for thought. Never thought about looking at the stars.... and know what.. if God made them to just look pretty... we should be all the more just as satisfied... for how amazing are the heavens He created!! how amazing is He! | | |
